Hermann is a versatile software engineer and Unity developer with a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has a passion for game design theory and product development and has pursued a career that allows him to combine his technical expertise with his creative pursuits. Hermann has been working in software development since 2019, with experience in gaming, fin-tech, and general software consulting.
Prior to his career in software engineering, Hermann held engineering and project management roles in the automotive industry, utilizing his academic background. He also engaged in a number of entrepreneurial endeavors, including authoring a novel and building a small brewery. These experiences have helped him develop a unique perspective and a broad range of skills.
In his free time, Hermann enjoys spending time with his wife and visiting family in Iceland. He is also an avid gamer, enjoying both tabletop and video games, and he plays the piano as a source of inspiration for his work. Hermann's creativity and passion for gaming and software development have led him to pursue a career in the gaming industry. - Implemented the Sales and Distribution module as the functional lead and the Plant Maintenance module as a functional consultant team member.
- Full life-cycle implementation including client interviews for project scope and requirements, complete configuration and custom code description, and culminating in a final, “big bang” legacy system shut down and SAP “go-live”.
